Autonomos GmbH is a Berlin IT startup specializing in research and development services in the areas of automotive software, digital image processing and 3D sensor technology. The company was founded in 2012 as a spin-off of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) research project entitled “AutoNOMOS Labs” at the Free University Berlin. Since then, Autonomos GmbH has grown to employ over 20 staff, and has developed their own independent real-time-capable stereo camera solution for deployment in diverse driver assistance systems in commercial vehicles. The company supports reputable suppliers and vehicle manufacturers with hardware and software know-how.
