Melanie has gained her PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Sheffield. She has over 20 years of combined academic and industrial experience enabling her to provide thought leadership and to drive innovation with a clear focus on IP development and commercialization. Prior to the Ansys acquisition in May 2022, Melanie was the Head of Engineering at MDL and is now Director Application Engineering at Ansys.
