Martin Grzebellus is managing director of NavCert GmbH. NavCert was founded as a Joint Venture between TÜV Süd and OECON in 2006. Since 2012 NavCert is a 100% subsidiary of the OECON Holding GmbH.
We provide world-wide technical services, verification, validation and certification services in the area of positioning and navigation with offices in Braunschweig and Munich.
NavCert is Notified Body (NB2603) for the European Electronic Toll System (EETS) based on EU-Directive 2004/52/EC (EETS).
We consider ourselves as experts in the area of GNSS and support our customers, which come from different markets, in their developments. As accredited GNSS laboratory NavCert offers independent assessments of GNSS products and solutions.
NavCert provides certification and type approval for eCall, the new pan-European emergency service. Martin Grzebellus is engaged in projects for automated driving with focus on localisation system functions to be designed according safety standards such as ISO 26262 series "Road vehicles – Functional safety“ and ISO/AWI PAS 21448 “Road vehicles -- Safety of the intended functionality”.
