As of 1995 Markus Schneider has held various positions at the automotive supplier Continental Teves AG & Co. oHG in Frankfurt. Since September 2016 he has been head of the department Strategy & Innovation.

His field of responsibility ranges from Innovation, Market Intelligence as well as the divisional product strategy. The primary focus is on innovative products and solutions for assisted and automated driving.
