Reza Rashidi Far (PhD’05) has a passion in making autonomous vehicles a reality. His expertise is in perception and machine learning, sensors, and data fusion. He was instrumental in developing perception solutions for AD applications with LeddarTech before joining Product Line Management. Reza was with Magna Electronics, ADAS Features Development, before joining LeddarTech in 2018. Before joining Magna in 2015, Reza was in the aerospace industry for about a decade working for the Canadian Space Agency, GlobeVision, and CAE. He worked on developing the first HiL simulator for the Boeing 787 “Dreamliner”. Reza has developed perception modules running on different platforms, using data from LiDARs, cameras, spectrometers, radars, and ultrasonic sensors.
