Alex is the CTO at Autonomous Intelligent Driving GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of AUDI AG developing a full self-driving software stack. Prior to AID, Alex was a key lead in the Tesla Autopilot team. Previously he held various positions in the robotics industry, ranging from software developer to director and co-founder. Over the years, Alex has developed a strong experience for taking innovative ideas and transforming them into shipping products. He has a passion for software intelligence applied to physical systems and good, simple Engineering. Alex holds a BS from Ecole Polytechnique, Paris and an MS from MIT.

AID GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of AUDI AG and the ‘center of excellence’ for urban autonomous driving in the Volkswagen Group. Our technology will be used in models and brands across the VW group.
