Ahmed is a Project Manager with APTIV, working with the Advanced Engineering group that develops future platforms and prototypes for leading Automotive Manufacturers as well as Government funded initiatives. Over more than ten years, his experience was shaped by many challenging projects for various leading OEMs since he graduated from 2009 with a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer and Systems Department from Ain Shams University, one of the top universities in Egypt.
He joined the Automotive domain on his first project (Surround-View camera system) with Valeo Detection/Vision Systems in 2010. Since then, he gained hands-on experience with different hardware platforms, modern ECU Software, And System Architectures. He led several projects delivering innovative embedded systems, software, and tooling solutions for AUTOSAR and Linux environments that are currently running in leading premium Car models. Ahmed became an Autonomous Driving enthusiast since the famous documentary "The Great Robot Race." He joined the first run of Artificial Intelligence for Robotics provided by Udacity, which is founded by self-driving technology pioneer Sebastian Thrun.
He is passionate about Computer, Software, and Systems Architecture, as well as Project Management and Agile Methodologies. He is a Certified Agile Practitioner and PMP from the Project Management Institute.
